Credit Unions Lead the Ireland Reputation Index 2025

For the third consecutive year, credit unions have topped the Ireland Reputation Index 2025, earning the title of Ireland’s most reputable organisation. This consistent recognition strongly reflects the trust, community focus, and ethical values that credit unions are known for.
What Is the Ireland Reputation Index 2025?
The Ireland Reputation Index 2025, conducted annually by The Reputations Agency, surveys over 5,000 members of the Irish public. It evaluates 100 of the country’s largest and most recognisable organisations across more than 100 factors, including brand purpose, environmental impact, trust, respect, and social responsibility.
This year, credit unions secured an impressive reputation score of 82.4, placing them in the ‘Excellent’ category. Here is the full list of top-ranked organisations:
