MFCU Easter 2026: Branch Hours and Payment Schedule 

Easter 2026 is just around the corner and we want to make sure you have everything you need before the long weekend kicks in. Whether you are planning to visit one of our branches or have payments going out over the Easter period, here is everything you need to know.

Easter is just around the corner and we want to make sure you have everything you need before the long weekend kicks in. Whether you are planning to visit one of our branches or have payments going out over the Easter period, here is everything you need to know.

Branch opening hours over Easter 2026 

Our branches will be operating on adjusted hours across the Easter weekend. Here is the full schedule:

Thursday 2nd April	Last day before Easter	9:30am to 4:30pm
Friday 3rd April	Good Friday	9:30am to 12:30pm
Saturday 4th April	Easter Saturday	Closed
Monday 6th April	Easter Monday	Closed
Tuesday 7th April	Back to normal	Normal hours resume

This applies to all five of our branches: Artane, Northside, Raheny, Swords and Trinity. Phone lines follow the same hours as branches. If you need to reach us you can call (01) 851 3400. 

A few things worth keeping in mind. Good Friday is a shorter day so if you are planning to come in, make sure you are with us before 12:30pm. We are fully closed on Saturday and Easter Monday (including phone lines), so plan any branch visits around that. 

Payment processing over Easter 2026 

If you have payments going out over Easter, this is the part you need to read carefully. 

SEPA payment processing will not run on Good Friday (3rd April) or Easter Monday (6th April). Normal processing resumes on Tuesday 7th April. That means any payment you need processed over the Easter weekend should be submitted by the early morning of Thursday 2nd April to make sure there are no delays. 

If you miss that window, do not panic. SEPA Instant payments are not affected by bank holidays. They run around the clock, every day of the year, Easter included. So if something urgent comes up over the weekend, that option is available to you.

All our branches will be back to normal hours, and SEPA payments will resume processing from Tuesday 7th April 2026.
