The team at Member First Credit Union have been informed that there’s currently a phishing scam targeting Credit Union members throughout the country, and we wanted to reach out, and make sure you have the information you need to help protect your account.

Members who have been targeted will receive an email from the email address creditunion@online.ie or one similar to this. The email will inform you of a file named “Payment Confirmation” that’s been transferred to you through a site called WeTransfer, by what appears to be from the Credit Union, and you will be encouraged to click to download the files. 

This scam is designed to collect your personal details with a view to gaining access to personal financial accounts. Please be aware and do not open, take action or respond to this email.
